The groom, Kelvin has waited for this special day all his life. With his unconditional love, he proved Joyce, his bride wrong when she thought that a prince charming only exists in fairytale and that the fantasy of having a God-loving man that shares a passion with her is impossible. Kelvin is all that she could ask for, the one who have shown her what true love is. For this, Joyce promised to stand by him, to always cheer him up and always be his number 1 fan. On the other hand, Kevin promised to give his heart to her and always put a smile on her face.
On this most memorable day of Joyce and Kelvin, as basketball mates, best friends and soul mates, they formally dedicate themselves to each other before God, family and friends in Markham Chinese Baptist Church.
The wedding theme is basketball, the couple’s mutual passion which I myself, am quite fond of. That made the wedding
and engagement coverages exceptionally interesting with great sense of fun.
This SDE (same day edit) video is noticeably longer that what I usually create. I made it in such way that is uniquely satisfactory to Joyce and Kelvin.
The STD (save the date) video was inspired by the movie “Love and Basketball”. Teamwork made this video so superb. The couple wrote and acted the script beautifully with the help of their friends while I directed and filmed. Though it required us to be in different locations and spend extra days to wrap it up, it was all worth it!Never a tiresome nor dull moment.
To my surprise, the STD video was shown in the church, in 2 huge screens and 1 big flat TV right before the bridal party procession. Although some may already have seen it since it was posted online prior to the wedding, everyone appeared to be amused. The church got filled with discreet sounds of excitement and giggling, just perfect for joyous celebration of love.
